QIAseq Stranded mRNA Lib Kit UDI-C (96)

The QIAseq Stranded mRNA Library Kit UDI-C from QIAGEN is designed for the preparation of strand-specific RNA-seq libraries enriched for polyadenylated mRNA, for use with Illumina sequencing instruments. The integrated workflow covers mRNA enrichment from total RNA, fragmentation, reverse transcription, second-strand synthesis combined with end-repair and A-addition, adapter ligation, CleanStart PCR enrichment, and library cleanup using QIAseq Beads.

The kit is supplied with a Y-adapter plate of unique dual-index (UDI) adapters, each carrying a distinct barcode and sealed under a pierceable foil that permits access to defined portions of the plate. The UDI design supports confident multiplexed sequencing, and complementary UDI kits can be combined to scale the number of libraries pooled in a single sequencing run.
