QIAseq Stranded mRNA Lib Kit UDI-A (96)

QIAGEN offers a stranded mRNA library preparation solution designed for next-generation sequencing applications on Illumina instruments. The QIAseq Stranded mRNA Library Kit UDI-A supports a complete workflow of mRNA enrichment of total RNA, fragmentation, reverse transcription, second-strand synthesis with end-repair and A-addition, strand-specific adapter ligation, CleanStart PCR enrichment, and library cleanup using QIAseq Beads. Unique dual-index (UDI) adapters reduce index cross-talk and support high-degree multiplexing across large studies, and the kit ships with a plate of adapters bearing different barcodes under a pierceable foil seal that allows use of defined portions of the plate.

According to the manufacturer's handbook, the protocol enables one-day, accurate stranded NGS library construction from a broad range of RNA inputs, with magnetized QIAseq Beads enabling fast and efficient reaction cleanups between steps. The kit is intended for molecular biology applications only and is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of disease. Each lot is tested against predetermined specifications under QIAGEN's ISO-certified Quality Management System.

Component-specific storage requirements are: Buffers mRBB and Pure mRNA Beads at 2–8°C (do not freeze); Buffer OW2 (wash buffer), RNase-Free Water and Buffer OEB (elution buffer) at room temperature (15–25°C); the QIAseq Stranded RNA Lib Enzyme Kit and QIAseq UDI Y-Adapter Kit at −30 to −15°C; and QIAseq Beads at 2–8°C (do not freeze).
