QIAseq Single Cell RNA Lib Kit UDIA (96)

From QIAGEN, this single-cell RNA library kit is designed for RNA-seq library construction from single cells and low-input RNA samples, enabling next-generation sequencing on Illumina NGS instruments. The workflow supports interrogation of the full transcriptome from diverse single-cell types while remaining flexible enough to accommodate low-input RNA samples and even small viral RNA genomes.

The kit employs multiple-displacement amplification (MDA) with a HiFi proofreading polymerase to uniformly amplify cDNA while minimizing the incorporation of amplification errors. Reverse transcription with the Quantiscript RT Enzyme Mix proceeds for 60 minutes, followed by cDNA ligation for 30 minutes and an isothermal cDNA amplification step of 120 minutes. The workflow generates PCR-free NGS-ready libraries through a one-tube library preparation protocol that eliminates sample cleanup between steps, reducing starting-material loss and cross-contamination risk. Co-optimization of the MDA and library construction steps supports automation and produces high-diversity libraries in just one working day.

The enzyme and adapter components of the kit should be stored at −30 to −15°C upon receipt, while the bead component is stored at 2–8°C and must not be frozen. The product is intended for molecular biology applications and is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease.
