QIAseq miRNA 96 Index Kit UDI E–H (384)

This QIAGEN index kit supplies unique dual index (UDI) reagents for multiplexing libraries during microRNA library preparation for sequencing on Illumina next-generation sequencing instruments. The kit is one component of a two-part workflow and must be used together with a separate QIAseq miRNA Library Kit. It contains a UDI-specific 5′ adapter, a UDI-specific RT initiator, and 96-well plates of UDI sample indexes supplied as pre-mixed indexing oligos. Combining kits with different UDI plates allows more than 96 libraries to be multiplexed in a single sequencing run, enabling 384-plex sequencing on Illumina NGS instruments.

Each well of the plate contains 9 µL of pre-mixed sample indexing oligos and is sealed with a pierceable foil for single use. The kit is shipped on dry ice or blue ice, and components should be stored at –30°C to –15°C upon receipt. Use of unique dual indexes mitigates the risk of read misassignment caused by index hopping, since misassigned reads can be filtered during demultiplexing. As with all QIAGEN QIAseq miRNA products, the kit is intended for molecular biology applications and is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of disease.
