QIAseq miRNA 96 Index Kit UDI A–H (768)

QIAGEN's unique dual index (UDI) kit supports indexing of QIAseq miRNA libraries for sequencing on Illumina NGS instruments as part of a gel-free, Sample to Insight small RNA sequencing solution. The kit contains a UDI-specific 5′ Adapter, a UDI-specific RT Initiator, and UDI sample index plates supplied as a liquid in 96-well hard plastic plates sealed with a pierceable foil. Each well contains 9 µL of pre-mixed sample indexing oligos and is intended for single use. A QIAseq miRNA Library Kit must be used alongside this index kit for library construction. Index plates from different UDI sets (A–H) can be combined to multiplex libraries for higher-plex sequencing.

UDIs use a fixed combination of two unique index barcode motifs per sample, mitigating the risk of read misassignment due to index hopping and supporting accurate demultiplexing. The QIAseq miRNA workflow is a precision next-generation sequencing solution for mature miRNAs from cells, tissues, and biofluids, integrating Unique Molecular Indices (UMIs) into reverse transcription to enable unbiased quantification. The kit is shipped on dry ice or blue ice and stored at −30°C to −15°C. It is intended for molecular biology applications and is not intended for diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease.
