QIAseq miRNA 96 Index Kit IL UDI-G (96)

QIAGEN's index kit is part of the QIAseq miRNA Library Kit system, designed for microRNA and small RNA library preparation for next-generation sequencing. The kit provides sequencing adapters, primers, and indices compatible with Illumina platforms, with 96 indices for indexing 96 samples supplied pre-plated in a 96-well plate. Sample indices are provided as a liquid in 96-well hard plastic plates, along with the UDI 5' Adapter and UDI RT Initiator.

The QIAseq miRNA system delivers a gel-free Sample to Insight solution for differential expression analysis and novel discovery using next-generation sequencing. Optimized reaction chemistry supports robust, miRNA-specific library construction while minimizing reaction biases and eliminating adapter dimers. Unique Molecular Indices (UMIs) tag each miRNA at an early stage, reducing PCR and sequencing bias. According to QIAGEN, high-throughput sequencing on Illumina NovaSeq instruments is possible with 768 unique dual indices, and the manufacturer recommends allocating 5–10 million reads per sample.

For data consistency, QIAGEN recommends that all samples in a dataset have UDIs to ensure uniform protocol and sequencing.
