QIAseq miRNA 96 Index Kit IL UDI-A (96)

QIAGEN supplies this unique dual index kit for assigning unique dual indices to individual QIAseq miRNA libraries ahead of Illumina next-generation sequencing. The indices are provided as a liquid in hard plastic plates, together with the UDI 5' Adapter and the UDI RT Initiator. The manufacturer recommends applying a unique dual index to every sample in a data set to maintain consistent library preparation and sequencing.

The kit is intended for use alongside the QIAseq miRNA Library Kit, which prepares microRNA and small RNA libraries for sequencing. The library kit uses Unique Molecular Indices (UMIs) to tag each miRNA at an early stage, which the manufacturer states eliminates PCR and sequencing bias, and supports differential expression analysis and discovery of novel miRNAs from biofluids, cells, fresh/frozen tissue and FFPE tissues.
