QIAseq Library Normalizer Kit (24)

Designed by QIAGEN for next-generation sequencing workflows, the QIAseq Normalizer Kit enables normalization of NGS libraries for sequencing on Illumina instruments without the need for prior library quantification. The system uses a bead-based bind–wash–elute routine with modified library amplification primers to adjust libraries to a common target concentration of approximately 4 nmol/L, so pools can be combined at equal volumes for balanced representation across samples.

The kit works with virtually all libraries that can be sequenced on Illumina instruments, including QIAGEN and third-party library preparation workflows. Before normalization, libraries must be modified with the Normalizer Primer Mix — either through a separate 2-cycle PCR step applied to finished libraries (Workflow A) or during the library amplification step when full-length indexed adapters such as QIAseq CDI/UDI Y-Adapters have been ligated (Workflow B). Because library molecules remain double-stranded throughout, normalized libraries can be safely stored at −20°C or optionally checked on standard capillary electrophoresis instruments. The kit is not compatible with PCR-free library preparation.

The product is intended for molecular biology applications and is not for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease. Each lot is tested against predetermined specifications in accordance with QIAGEN's ISO-certified Quality Management System.
