QIAseq FastSelect –rRNA Worm Kit (96)

From QIAGEN, this rRNA depletion kit is designed for rapid removal of ribosomal RNA during RNA-seq library preparation from Caenorhabditis elegans (worm) samples. Using a novel method, the kit removes highly abundant RNA of low scientific value from RNA-seq libraries, supporting whole transcriptome analysis workflows.

The reagent targets all annotated rRNAs in RefSeq and Ensembl for Caenorhabditis elegans. Depending on rRNA sequence homology, it also works on additional worm species beyond C. elegans. Functioning as a cytoplasmic and mitochondrial rRNA removal reagent, the kit is suited for worm sample preparation.

The kit integrates into standard NGS library workflows, where it is reported to substantially reduce rRNA reads and improve coverage of both coding and noncoding transcripts.
