QIAseq FastSelect -rRNA HMR Kit (384)

The QIAGEN QIAseq FastSelect -rRNA HMR kit enables rapid removal of cytoplasmic and mitochondrial ribosomal RNA from human, mouse, rat, and other mammalian total RNA samples during stranded NGS library preparation. Designed to act during the reverse transcription step, the one-step workflow completes rRNA removal in 14 minutes without additional enzymatic cleanups or separate depletion steps. The reagent works with inputs of 1 ng – 1 µg of total RNA, including high-quality, FFPE-derived, and highly fragmented samples, and can remove up to 99% of unwanted cytoplasmic and mitochondrial rRNA in a single step.

The reagent is compatible with stranded library preparation kits from QIAGEN, Illumina (TruSeq Stranded), NEB (NEBNext Ultra II Directional), and Roche (KAPA RNA HyperPrep), supporting workflows from total RNA- and mRNA-enriched inputs including cells, fresh or frozen tissue, FFPE tissue, whole blood, and serum/plasma, including exosomes. All components are shipped on blue ice or dry ice and should be stored at –30 to –15°C. The product is intended for molecular biology applications and is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease.
