QIAseq FastSelect -rRNA/Globin Kit (384)

QIAGEN's combined depletion system, the QIAseq FastSelect –rRNA/Globin Kit, removes abundant ribosomal and globin RNAs from input samples prior to RNA-seq. It enables rapid, reliable RNA removal from FFPE and fresh sample RNA sources. Supplied for high-throughput processing, the kit delivers consistent depletion across large sample sets and is compatible with standard NGS library protocols. It is optimized for large-scale studies to increase usable transcript reads and improves detection of low-abundance and noncoding RNAs.

According to the manufacturer's Quick-Start Protocol, the kit may be used with the NEBNext Poly(A) mRNA Magnetic Isolation Module and the NEBNext Ultra II Directional RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina to remove human, mouse, or rat globin. All components should be stored at –30 to –15°C in a constant-temperature freezer. When removing globin during library construction, 2 additional cycles of library amplification are required.
