QIAseq FastSelect™ Multi-RNA Removal Kit - 24 samples

An optimized NGS accessory from QIAGEN that removes multiple abundant RNA species in a single, integrated step during cDNA synthesis. The QIAseq FastSelect Multi-RNA Removal Kit uses a probe-based RNase H–dependent mechanism to block unwanted transcripts—including cytoplasmic rRNA, mitochondrial rRNA, and globin mRNA—before they consume sequencing reads. Eliminating the need for a separate physical rRNA depletion or poly-A selection step preserves rare transcripts and shortens overall workflow time.

Supplied in a 24-reaction format, the kit accommodates as little as 1 ng of total RNA input and supports degraded or low-quality samples such as those recovered from FFPE tissue or whole blood. The procedure integrates directly into standard RNA-seq library preparation workflows, including QIAseq stranded and other TruSeq-style protocols, adding roughly 30 minutes of hands-on time upstream of library construction.
