QIAseq FastSelect -Globin Kit (24)

For blood-derived RNA samples, QIAGEN's QIAseq FastSelect -Globin Kit delivers rapid removal of human, mouse, or rat globin mRNA, including adult, fetal, and embryonic transcripts, during RNA-seq library preparation. The removal reagent is added directly to total RNA alongside library-prep-specific buffers, enabling globin removal in a single inline step within the standard library preparation workflow.

The kit is compatible with QIAGEN, Illumina, KAPA, and NEB stranded library preparation kits, including workflows using the NEBNext Poly(A) mRNA Magnetic Isolation Module with the NEBNext Ultra II Directional RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina, and the QIAseq Stranded Total RNA Lib Kit. It supports RNA from fresh samples, FFPE (formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded) material, and degraded RNA, with or without RNA fragmentation, and works across RNA input amounts from 1 ng to 1 µg.

All kit components should be stored at –30 to –15°C in a constant-temperature freezer. Compared with previous kit generations, the FastSelect kits remove more unwanted RNA and are 30% faster.
