QIAseq FastSelect Epidemiology Kit (8)

A targeted depletion solution from QIAGEN for epidemiology and surveillance RNA-seq applications, designed to improve detection of pathogen and host transcripts by removing abundant rRNA sequences.

The kit is suitable for small studies and method development and is optimized for mixed microbial and host RNA samples, with easy integration into established library prep protocols. It simultaneously removes mammalian and pan-bacterial rRNA and is intended for Dual-seq or host-pathogen RNA-seq library preparation.

Reagents included target pan-bacterial 5S/16S/23S rRNA along with cytoplasmic and mitochondrial rRNA. The bacterial and HMR (human, mouse, rat) reagents are supplied separately so they can be used for either single or dual-seq workflows.
