QIAseq FastSelect -5S/16S/23S Kit (8)

QIAGEN's rRNA depletion kit targets bacterial 5S, 16S and 23S rRNA to maximize informative sequencing reads from limited samples. It enables removal of 5S, 16S and 23S rRNA when preparing RNA-seq libraries from bacterial RNA, and is designed for complex microbial samples with high bacterial counts from diverse soil, water, stool and sludge sources.

The kit is intended for straightforward incorporation into standard RNA library-prep protocols with low hands-on time, making it suitable for pilot experiments or low-throughput needs. Reagents should be stored at -20°C and freeze–thaw cycles should be minimized.
