QIAseq DNA QuantiMIZE Assay Kit

A qPCR-based system from QIAGEN, designed to determine the quantity and quality of DNA that is amenable to amplification by targeted enrichment prior to next-generation sequencing (NGS). The QIAseq DNA QuantiMIZE Assay Kit is intended for discovery, translational, and clinical researchers who need a cost-effective method for establishing the optimum conditions for targeted enrichment of DNA isolated from biological samples, including FFPE material.

The approach aims to improve the likelihood of a successful NGS run not only by quantifying amplifiable DNA, but also by optimising the target enrichment conditions. The associated GeneGlobe identifier is DNQC-100Y. The system is described as best suited for determining gDNA quality for multiplex PCR enrichment methods, and the data analysis template provides the number of cycles and volume of gDNA to use with the GeneRead workflow, although it does not yield an absolute DNA concentration. The kit supersedes the GeneRead DNA QuantiMIZE Assay Kit within the manufacturer's portfolio.
