QIAseq DNA HC panel (12)

Targeted next-generation sequencing panel from QIAGEN combines molecular barcoding with multiplex PCR-based amplicon enrichment to enable high-confidence variant calling from limited or degraded DNA. The 12-reaction format ships as a single-use kit on dry ice and is stored at -20 degrees C, with each reaction accepting 10-40 ng of input genomic DNA drawn from sources such as formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue, fresh frozen biopsies, whole blood, and circulating cell-free DNA. Unique Molecular Indices (UMIs) collapse PCR duplicates and suppress sequencer errors, supporting reliable detection of low-frequency somatic variants below 1 percent allele frequency. Prepared libraries are compatible with Illumina sequencers, with recommended read depths of 500x or higher to ensure uniform coverage across every amplicon in the pool. The workflow integrates into standard amplicon sequencing pipelines in roughly 5.5 hours of hands-on time and is applied in tumor profiling, liquid biopsy validation, and confirmation of variants flagged by broader whole-exome screens.
