This targeted resequencing solution from QIAGEN enables hybrid capture-based sequencing of expanded genomic regions, supporting accurate single-nucleotide variant, indel, and copy number detection across large gene sets. The 96-index format integrates enzymatic fragmentation, end repair, adapter ligation, and biotinylated probe hybridization into a workflow that adapts readily to liquid-handler automation.

Built-in Unique Molecular Index (UMI) tagging suppresses polymerase-induced errors and PCR duplication artifacts, enabling reliable detection of low-frequency variants down to 1% allele frequency. Library preparation accepts as little as 10 ng of input genomic DNA, and the resulting libraries sequence on Illumina instruments using standard primers and dual-index reads.

Typical applications include tumor-normal somatic variant profiling for oncology research, germline testing of hereditary disease gene panels, and pharmacogenomic screening.
