QIAseq Custom Targeted MethylPanel(384) - 1-100

QIAGEN's QIAseq Targeted Methyl Custom Panels provide a liquid biopsy-compatible solution for interrogating DNA methylation status via targeted next-generation sequencing. Designed as a single-day workflow, the panels target thousands of CpG sites and are built on QIAseq Enrichment Technology for sensitive and specific detection across the genome. The custom panel service supports 1–100 targets in a 384-sample compatible format, intended for high-throughput applications such as large cohort studies, screening programs and high-throughput validation.

Template requirements for a single sequencing reaction range from 1–100 ng for fresh gDNA, 10–200 ng for FFPE DNA, or 10–100 ng for ccfDNA. The workflow begins with bisulfite conversion of isolated DNA, followed by end repair and target enrichment during which Unique Molecular Indices (UMIs) are added to the library. These UMIs are unique barcode sequences that enable bioinformatics analysis to exclude duplicates and error-correct the sample's methylation status. QIAseq Enrichment Technology uses a PCR method employing a single target-specific primer combined with a universal primer, increasing design efficiency and sensitivity for challenging samples while maximizing coverage of regions of interest.
