QIAseq Custom Index Kit Set A (96)

Multiplexing accessory for Illumina next-generation sequencing workflows, supplying 96 unique dual-index adapter primers that barcode individual DNA libraries prior to pooling on a sequencing flow cell. The indexes in Set A are compatible with QIAGEN QIAseq library preparation chemistries, including targeted DNA and RNA panels that rely on bead-based enrichment or molecular barcoding. Each index is provided in a single-use tube, pre-aliquoted for one library reaction, so laboratories can barcode up to 96 samples in a single sequencing run without index-hopping between reactions.

Custom index sets expand the usable barcode space beyond the standard 12- or 24-plex layouts, supporting higher-throughput studies such as microbial amplicon surveys, low-pass whole-genome sequencing, and cell-free DNA variant screening. The kit integrates with QIAGEN QIAseq Library Prep workflows and downstream Illumina platforms (iSeq, MiniSeq, NextSeq, NovaSeq), and the indices follow a staggered geometry that maintains balanced nucleotide diversity across channels and cycles. Libraries should be pooled at equimolar concentration after fluorometric quantification and requantified before denaturation.

Each tube holds dried oligos ready for resuspension in the buffer supplied with the matching QIAseq prep kit; plates and tubes from other index sets are not interchangeable. The product is for research use only and ships at room temperature in a sealed plate format.
