This index kit from QIAGEN provides combinatorial dual-indexed adapters for sample indexing in QIAseq Targeted Panel sequencing workflows on Illumina platforms. The adapters are incorporated into DNA fragments during library construction, enabling de-multiplexing of pooled libraries and assignment of sequencing reads back to their original source samples.

Designed for use with the QIAseq Targeted Panels portfolio, the kit is compatible with QIAseq Targeted DNA, QIAseq RNAscan, and QIAseq Immune Repertoire RNA Library Kits. These workflows support ultrasensitive variant and clonotype detection from cells, tissue, and biofluids by incorporating Unique Molecular Indices (UMIs) into starting material before amplification, preserving the uniqueness of starting DNA molecules and addressing PCR duplicates, false positives, and library bias.
