QIAGEN's QIAseq Index Kit provides unique dual bar-coded indices designed for QIAseq Targeted NGS applications. Compatible only with Illumina instruments, the unique dual indexes are optimized for QIAseq Targeted Panel workflows, including QIAseq Targeted DNA, QIAseq RNAscan, and QIAseq Immune Repertoire RNA Library Kits. The unique dual bar-coded format is intended to mitigate "index hopping" and mis-assignment of reads, supporting confident sequencing data when combined with Unique Molecular Indices (UMIs).

The kit is not suitable for QIAseq library prep kits that utilize Y-shaped adapter styles. For those workflows, QIAseq FX DNA Library Kits and the corresponding QIAseq Unique Dual Index Y-Adapter Kits should be used instead.
