From QIAGEN, this QIAseq indexing set is part of the QIAseq Index Kit family and uses Unique Dual Indexes (UDIs) in a unique dual bar-coded format. Designed to be compatible only with Illumina instruments, the UDIs are optimized for QIAseq Targeted Panel workflows, including QIAseq Targeted DNA, QIAseq RNAscan and QIAseq Immune Repertoire RNA Library Kits, and are intended to mitigate index hopping and mis-assignment of reads. The set provides 12 unique index sequences for multiplexing NGS libraries, formulated to support balanced base composition and reliable demultiplexing alongside QIAseq library kits and standard Illumina sequencing workflows. Combinatorial, non-unique dual index adapters are also available separately from QIAGEN for users who do not require UDI-level process safety.
