QIAprep Spin Miniprep Kit (1000)

Plasmid DNA purification from E. coli cultures is streamlined through the QIAprep Spin Miniprep Kit, a column-based system from QIAGEN that yields up to 20 µg of high-copy plasmid from 1-5 mL overnight cultures in roughly 10 minutes per prep. The silica spin membrane captures plasmid DNA while the wash steps remove proteins, RNA, and endotoxins, delivering eluates in 30-50 µL of Buffer EB.

The 1000-prep package supplies Buffer P1, P2, N3, PB, PE, EB, RNase A, QIAprep spin columns, and collection tubes for bench-scale and core facility use. Purified plasmid feeds directly into restriction digestion, sequencing, ligation, transformation, in vitro transcription, and PCR workflows. Store reagents at room temperature with Buffer P2 handled separately for safety. The kit supports molecular biology applications that demand transfection-grade DNA for cloning, gene expression, and recombinant protein production.
