QIAGEN Genomic-Tip 100/G (25)

A gravity-flow, anion-exchange column from QIAGEN for the preparative purification of high-molecular-weight genomic DNA. The single-use columns employ an anion-exchange resin format to isolate high-quality DNA from diverse sample types including whole blood, buffy coat, lymphocytes, cultured cells, tissues, mouse tails, yeast, and Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria. Purification can be completed in less than 3 hours and completely avoids the use of toxic and hazardous reagents such as phenol and chloroform.

The procedure requires no expensive equipment, involves only a few steps, and the columns are optimized for use with QIAGEN buffer systems. Columns are stored dry at room temperature and remain stable for at least two years without showing any reduction in performance, capacity, or quality of separation. The product is designed to deliver reproducible purity compatible with downstream applications such as long-read sequencing and cloning.
