QIAprep 2.0 Spin Columns (100)

QIAGEN silica-membrane spin columns enable purification of up to 20 μg of molecular biology grade plasmid DNA per prep. The columns feature an 800 µl reservoir capacity and a minimum elution volume of 50 µl, supporting culture volumes of 1–5 ml for high-copy plasmids and 1–10 ml for low-copy plasmids or cosmids. Throughput is 1–24 samples per run, with 24 minipreps completed in under 30 minutes.

Processing is manual via microcentrifuge or vacuum manifold, or fully automatable on the QIAcube, with lysate clearing by centrifugation. A bind-wash-elute procedure on the silica membrane yields DNA suitable for fluorescent and radioactive sequencing, ligation, cloning, transformation, and restriction digestion.
