QIAGEN PCR Cloning Kit (40)

Designed for fast and efficient cloning of PCR products generated with Taq and other non-proofreading DNA polymerases, this system from QIAGEN centres on the pDrive Cloning Vector, supplied in linear form with U overhangs for UA-based ligation. A pre-mixed Ligation Master Mix provides all reagents and cofactors required for ligation, together with distilled water. The pDrive Cloning Vector supports ampicillin and kanamycin selection as well as blue/white colony screening, and features multiple unique restriction endonuclease sites flanking the cloning site, T7 and SP6 promoters for in vitro transcription, and a phage f1 origin for single-stranded DNA preparation.

PCR products are simply mixed with the vector and Ligation Master Mix, then incubated at 4–16°C for 30 minutes. Each lot is quality-controlled under QIAGEN's ISO-certified Quality Management System. Kits are shipped on dry ice and stored at –20°C or –70°C. Intended for research use only.
