QIAcuity UCP Probe PCR Kit (5mL)

Designed for digital PCR (dPCR) applications on QIAcuity instruments, this kit from QIAGEN supports microbial DNA detection assays and TaqMan probe-based single-plex or multiplex reactions of up to 5 targets.

The QIAcuity UCP Probe PCR Kit should be stored immediately upon receipt at –30 to –15°C in a constant-temperature freezer and protected from light. The QIAcuity Probe PCR master mix can alternatively be stored protected from light at 2–8°C. Unless otherwise indicated on the label, the components are stable for 12 months without showing any reduction in performance under these conditions. The QIAcuity UCP Probe PCR Master Mix contains a fluorescent reference dye for reliable detection of proper partition filling in QIAcuity Nanoplates.

For the highest efficiency in dPCR using TaqMan probes, amplicons should ideally be 60–150 bp in length. The PCR must start with an initial incubation step of 2 min at 95°C to activate the QuantiNova DNA Polymerase in the master mix. Thermal cycling consists of 40 cycles with denaturation for 15 s at 95°C and combined annealing/extension for 60 s at 58°C. Total reaction volumes are 12 µl for the Nanoplate 8.5k format and 40 µl for the Nanoplate 26k format.
