QIAcuity Probe PCR Kit (5mL)

For probe-based digital PCR on the QIAcuity platform, this kit from QIAGEN delivers a 4x concentrated, ready-to-use mastermix optimized for microfluidic use in QIAcuity Nanoplates. The mastermix enables accurate singleplex or up to 5-plex analysis of gDNA or cDNA on the QIAcuity dPCR instruments and is formulated to increase specificity during quantification.

QIAGEN's proprietary buffer technology, paired with the QuantiNova DNA Polymerase, is optimized for the Nanoplate microfluidic format and delivers consistent results in sensitivity, reproducibility and efficiency. The kit supports accurate quantification of up to 5 targets with widely differing abundance within a single well, reducing sample material requirements while producing data comparable with that obtained from a singleplex PCR. A novel, antibody-mediated hot-start mechanism uses the QuantiNova Antibody together with QuantiNova Guard to keep the polymerase inactive at low temperatures, preventing extension of nonspecifically annealed primers and primer–dimers; within 2 minutes of raising the temperature to 95 °C, the antibody complex denatures and the polymerase is activated for amplification.

The mastermix demonstrates reaction stability for up to 100 hours at 30 °C without impairing the performance of subsequent reactions, making it suitable for high-throughput reaction setup and plate-stack handling. Used together with the QIAcuity Digital PCR System and QIAcuity Nanoplates, the kit supports quantitative analysis of cDNA and gDNA, with the system integrating partitioning, thermocycling and imaging into a single fully automated workflow that delivers results in under 2 hours.
