QIAcuity OneStep Advanced EG Kit (1 mL)

QIAGEN offers a one-step RT-PCR kit designed for dye-based digital PCR on the QIAcuity Digital PCR System. The kit enables sensitive quantification of RNA or RNA and DNA targets in a single combined reverse transcription and PCR reaction. It contains a ready-to-use 4x concentrated PCR Master Mix and a 100x concentrated RT Mix optimized for microfluidic partitioning in QIAcuity Nanoplates.

EvaGreen serves as the intercalating dye, binding double-stranded DNA to enhance quantitative accuracy of gDNA or cDNA measurements. An optimized reference dye is also included for counting analyzable partitions during Nanoplate-based dPCR analysis.

A patent-pending HotStart Reverse Transcription Enzyme is non-functional at room temperature and prevents generation of off-target cDNA, even when left to incubate at 37°C for extended periods. This enables reaction assembly at room temperature and parallel loading of multiple nanoplates into QIAcuity Four and Eight instruments. The kit supports combined detection of RNA and DNA targets — for example, viral RNA together with bacterial DNA — and is suited to applications such as wastewater testing and quantitative analysis of viral RNA or mRNA.
