QIAamp MinElute ccfDNA Midi Kit (50)

From QIAGEN, this kit enables high-yield extraction of circulating cell-free DNA (ccfDNA) from 1–10 ml of human plasma or serum for liquid biopsy workflows. It greatly simplifies purification of free-circulating DNA, which is typically present in serum or plasma as short fragments of less than 1000 bp.

The workflow uses pre-concentration of circulating nucleic acids onto magnetic beads followed by a cleanup on QIAamp MinElute columns in a quick, convenient spin-based format, and can be partially automated on the QIAcube Connect or the QIAcube. The robust procedure helps eliminate sample-to-sample cross-contamination and increases user safety when handling potentially infectious samples, while being well suited for simultaneous processing of multiple samples and providing pure nucleic acids in less than 1 hour for 24 samples.

Eluted DNA is delivered in Ultra-clean Water, ready for use in downstream reactions or storage at –30 to –15°C, and is free of proteins, nucleases, and other impurities. The kit includes QIAamp UCP MinElute Columns, QIAGEN Proteinase K, Magnetic Bead Suspension, Buffers, Bead Elution Tubes, and Collection Tubes (1.5 ml and 2 ml).
