QIAamp ccfDNA/RNA Kit (50)

This QIAGEN kit enables dual RNA and DNA extraction from plasma in a single workflow, supporting fusion detection and liquid biopsy biomarker analysis. It allows co-purification of cell-free DNA and RNA, including vesicular and non-vesicular nucleic acids. Starting from 1–4 ml plasma or serum, the protocol uses midi spin columns, removing the need for a vacuum step. MinElute spin columns are used for nucleic acid elution, allowing small elution volumes of 14 µl.

The protocol is specially designed to allow both DNA and RNA elution from the same plasma or serum sample, with yields comparable to or better than the QIAamp Circulating Nucleic Acid Kit. The complete workflow is phenol-free and can be carried out without a fume hood. Standard protocols can also be executed using the TRACKMAN Connected system paired with PIPETMAN M Connected pipettes from Gilson, which guides researchers through the protocol while automatically adjusting Bluetooth-enabled pipette settings.

For liquid biopsy samples that require parallel analysis of DNA and RNA mutations, or for samples with low mutant allele frequencies, this kit efficiently isolates complete DNA and RNA, including miRNA, from any plasma or serum sample.
