The assay is tailored to user-specified targets and validated for integration into PyroMark PCR and sequencing workflows, making it suitable for bespoke methylation or sequence variation studies when paired with standard PyroMark sample preparation. A January 2026 quick-start guide is available for designing Pyrosequencing assays with PyroMark Assay Design 2.0 software. A corresponding instrument methods file is provided for use with PyroMark Q24 Software, PyroMark Gold Q24 Reagents, and PyroMark Q24 Cartridges marked with method 0016.

QIAGEN notes that PyroMark Q24 and PyroMark Q24 Advanced instruments have been discontinued but remain supported until the end of 2026, with reagents still available; users may consider upgrading to the PyroMark Q48 Autoprep System.
