Phalloidin, ID, 300tests

Fluorescent probes supplied by STEMCELL Technologies under the Phalloidin iFluor™ Conjugates line are intended for the identification and quantification of F-actin in tissues, cell cultures, or cell-free experiments.

The manufacturer describes validated staining of H9 embryonic stem cells maintained in mTeSR™ Plus on Corning® Matrigel®-coated 35 mm glass-bottom dishes for 24 hours, then fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and counterstained with Hoechst 33342, with the Phalloidin-iFluor™ 647 signal shown in red.

In a second application, forebrain-type neurons differentiated from WLS-1C cell-derived neural progenitor cells using STEMdiff™ Forebrain Neuron Differentiation and Maturation Kits were cultured on poly-L-ornithine/laminin-coated 35 mm glass-bottom dishes for 3 weeks before fixation with 4% paraformaldehyde and counterstaining with Hoechst 33342, again visualized with Phalloidin-iFluor™ 647 in red.
