PCR Anti-Inhibitor (500)

QIAGEN offers this PCR Anti-Inhibitor as part of its GDN PCR Enzymes portfolio. The reagent is a carefully composed mixture of alkaline proteins that counteracts substances which inhibit the PCR reaction, providing a way of eliminating inhibitors co-extracted with a DNA template.

It is designed for amplification of so-called difficult DNA templates isolated from samples such as urine, saliva, sputum, blood, cell swabs, cerebrospinal fluid and biopsies. The recommended usage is to add 1 µl of the Anti-Inhibitor to 50 µl of the PCR mixture. The product is intended for research use only.

Storage conditions are –20ºC, and the product is shipped on dry or blue ice.
