Ni-NTA Superflow Cartridges (5x5 ml)

From QIAGEN, the Ni-NTA Superflow Cartridges are pre-filled affinity cartridges for purification of 6xHis-tagged proteins on liquid chromatography systems such as FPLC, ÄkTA, and BioLogic, or by syringe. The 5 ml cartridge has a column volume of 5 ml, height of 2.98 cm, diameter of 1.47 cm, average particle diameter of 110 μm, and a typical loading range of 1–150 mg. Maximum pressure is 0.5 MPa, with a default flowrate of 5.0 ml/min and a maximum of 40.0 ml/min. The cartridge supports pH 3–12 long-term and pH 2–14 short-term. Bead size is 60–160 μm.

QIAGEN guarantees a binding capacity of up to 20 mg/ml, with reported yields up to 250 mg per 5 ml cartridge. The Superflow matrix tolerates denaturants (6 M Gu·HCl, 8 M urea), detergents (2% Triton X-100, 2% Tween 20, 1% CHAPS), reducing agents (20 mM β-ME, 10 mM DTT, 20 mM TCEP), and long-term storage in up to 30% ethanol. The resin shows the lowest level of nickel leaching among commercially available nickel resins and is described as the most-cited resin for His-tagged protein purification. Cartridges cannot be opened.
