Description
A nickel-charged resin from QIAGEN used for the purification and detection of proteins carrying a 6xHis tag within Tagged Protein Expression workflows. It supports manual processing and is suited to gravity-flow operation with cell lysate as the starting material, enabling both batch and column formats at large scale.
Built on a Sepharose CL-6B matrix with a bead size of 45–165 µm and a maximum operating pressure of 2.8 psi, the resin binds up to 50 mg/ml. It is intended for proteomics applications, with a typical yield range of 100 µg to 100 mg. The product is not designed for FPLC.
