Ms Recom MIP-1 beta (CCL4), 100 µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers Mouse Recombinant MIP-1 beta (CCL4), a chemokine that attracts CD4+ T cells and induces the release of proinflammatory cytokines, mast cell degranulation, and NK cell activation.

The biological activity of this recombinant protein was tested by its ability to induce chemotaxis of THP-1 cells. Cell migration was measured after 45 min using a fluorometric assay method, with an increase in migration over basal level observed starting at 100 ng/mL. The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 7.8 kDa, and 1 μg was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining.

The reagent is designed for use in research workflows including the immunomagnetic negative isolation of untouched mouse CD4+ T cells and untouched mouse B cells.
