Ms Recom M-CSF, 500 µg

Mouse recombinant Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor (M-CSF), also called CSF-1, from STEMCELL Technologies is supplied as a 500 µg vial of bioactive cytokine. M-CSF drives proliferation and differentiation of myeloid progenitors into monocytes, macrophages, and osteoclasts, making it a foundational reagent for in vitro hematopoietic and immunology research.

Common applications include the generation of bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) from mouse progenitor cells, monocyte-derived dendritic cell culture, and studies of macrophage polarization, phagocytosis, and innate immune signaling. The lyophilized protein is typically reconstituted in sterile water or PBS and added to cell culture media at working concentrations of roughly 10 to 50 ng/mL.

Store the vial at -20 °C, protected from light, and aliquot after reconstitution to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve biological activity across experiments. Research use only.
