Ms Recom IL-19, 10 µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers a recombinant form of mouse IL-19, a proinflammatory cytokine that induces T-helper cell differentiation. Biological activity is assessed by the cytokine's ability to promote the proliferation of MCF-7 cells, measured using a fluorometric assay method.

The EC50, defined as the effective concentration at which cell proliferation reaches 50% of maximum, is less than 50 ng/mL in the example assay. The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 17.7 kDa.

SDS-PAGE analysis of 2 μg of the recombinant IL-19 under reducing (+) and non-reducing (−) conditions, visualized by Coomassie Blue staining, supports the predicted molecular weight. A Product Information Sheet is available with directions for use.
