Ms Recom IL-10, 50 µg

This laboratory reagent from STEMCELL Technologies is a recombinant form of mouse Interleukin-10 (IL-10), supplied as a solid. IL-10 is a cytokine that represses excessive pro-inflammatory responses, enhances B cell proliferation, immunoglobulin secretion, and class II MHC expression. The biological activity of Mouse Recombinant IL-10 was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of MC/9 cells, with cell proliferation measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum, and in the example provided the EC50 is less than 0.2 ng/mL.

Quality is confirmed by SDS-PAGE analysis, where 2 μg of Mouse Recombinant IL-10 was resolved under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining, showing a predicted molecular mass of 21 - 23 kDa. The product is intended for research use and is listed for applications including immunomagnetic positive isolation of mouse CD4+CD25+ Tregs, immunomagnetic positive selection of mouse CD19+ cells, and immunomagnetic negative isolation of untouched mouse B cells.
