Ms Recom Flt3/Flk-2 Ligand, 100 µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, this recombinant Flt3/Flk-2 Ligand regulates proliferation, differentiation, and survival of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. Biological activity was assessed by its ability to promote the proliferation of AML5 cells, with cell proliferation measured after 65 hours of culture using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 in the reported assay was 1.3 - 2.0 ng/mL.

SDS-PAGE analysis under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions, visualized by Coomassie Blue staining, shows a predicted molecular mass of 18.6 kDa. The product is designed for use as a serum-free culture supplement for expansion of human hematopoietic cells, including human CD34+ hematopoietic cells.
