Ms IgM, k Iso, MM-30, PE, 25µg

This PE-conjugated monoclonal isotype control antibody is the MM-30 clone supplied by STEMCELL Technologies. Raised in mouse, the antibody carries an IgM, kappa isotype and is intended for use as an isotype-matched control to estimate the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody, helping confirm antibody specificity and indicating non-specific binding that may result from interactions with Fc receptors or other cell components. The MM-30 clone reportedly recognizes keyhole limpet hemocyanin and was generated using trinitrophenol + KLH as the immunogen.

Verified applications include flow cytometry (FC), immunocytochemistry (ICC), and immunofluorescence microscopy (IF), including surface and intracellular staining. The product is supplied in a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide and may contain carrier protein/stabilizer. The antibody was conjugated with PE under optimal conditions and is at greater than 85% purity, free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody.

For handling, the product is stable at 2 - 8 °C when stored undiluted; it should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light.
