Ms IgG3,k Ctrl, MG3-35, PE, 25µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers this mouse monoclonal IgG3, kappa isotype control antibody (Clone MG3-35) conjugated to PE, designed for use as an isotype-matched negative control to estimate the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody. The clone has been verified for assessing non-specific binding to cells in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence microscopy applications, including both surface and intracellular staining, with verified applications in FC, ICC, and IF.

The antibody is produced in mouse, is of the IgG3, kappa isotype, and was raised against trinitrophenol + KLH. It recognises keyhole limpet hemocyanin and has unknown binding specificity, having been screened on a variety of activated, resting, live, and fixed tissues from mouse, rat, human, and non-human primates. It is supplied as a clear liquid in a phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide, and was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PE under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody.

For accurate interpretation, the isotype control should match the heavy-chain subclass and light chain of the specific antibody in use, and when a conjugated antibody is employed, an isotype control conjugated to the same fluorochrome should be chosen. The product is intended for research use only and is not intended for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic use. The product is stable when stored undiluted at 2 - 8°C; it should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light.
