Ms IgG3,k Ctrl, MG3-35, PE, 100µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, this PE-conjugated mouse monoclonal IgG3, kappa isotype control antibody (Clone MG3-35) is suitable for use as an isotype-matched control to estimate the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody. An appropriate isotype control helps confirm the specificity of the antigen-specific antibody and indicates non-specific binding that may result from binding to Fc receptors or other cell components.

The antibody recognises keyhole limpet hemocyanin and has unknown binding specificity, having been screened on a variety of activated, resting, live, and fixed tissues from mouse, rat, human, and non-human primates. The immunogen was trinitrophenol + KLH. Verified applications include flow cytometry (FC), immunocytochemistry (ICC), and immunofluorescence microscopy (IF), with FC also reported. The product is formulated as a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PE under optimal conditions; the solution is free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody.

The product is stable at 2 - 8 °C when stored undiluted. Do not freeze, and protect from prolonged exposure to light. It is supplied as a laboratory reagent for research use only and is not intended for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic uses.
