Ms IgG3,k Ctrl, MG3-35, FI, 50µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, the MG3-35 clone is a mouse IgG3, kappa monoclonal antibody offered in an FITC-conjugated format. It is designed for use as an isotype-matched control to estimate the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody, helping to confirm specificity and to indicate non-specific interactions that may result from binding to Fc receptors or other cell components.

The clone has been verified for assessing non-specific binding to cells in applications such as flow cytometry and immunofluorescence microscopy, including both surface and intracellular staining. For best results, the isotype control should match the heavy chain subclass and light chain type of the specific antibody being employed, and when a conjugated antibody is used, an isotype control conjugated to the same fluorochrome should be selected. Additional reported applications include functional assays, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and Western blot.
