Ms IgG2b,k Ctrl, MPC-11, PE, 25µg

A mouse monoclonal IgG2b, kappa isotype control antibody conjugated with PE, supplied by STEMCELL Technologies. The MPC-11 clone is suitable as an isotype-matched control to estimate the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody; an appropriate isotype control helps confirm antibody specificity and indicates non-specific binding that may result from interaction with Fc receptors or other cell components.

The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PE under optimal conditions, and the solution is free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody. It is formulated in a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide. The product is stable at 2 - 8 °C when stored undiluted; it should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light. The clone has been verified for use as an isotype control in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence microscopy applications, including surface and intracellular staining.
