Ms IgG2b,k Ctrl, MPC-11, AD, 100tests

A monoclonal isotype-matched control reagent from STEMCELL Technologies, the Mouse IgG2b, kappa Isotype Control Antibody, Clone MPC-11, Alexa Fluor® 488 is designed for estimating the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody. The manufacturer recommends that the isotype control ideally match the subclass of heavy chain (IgA, IgD, IgE, IgG, or IgM) and light chain (kappa or lambda) of the specific antibody, and if a conjugated antibody is used, the isotype control should be conjugated to the same molecule.

The MPC-11 clone has been verified for assessing non-specific binding to cells in applications including flow cytometry and immunofluorescence microscopy, covering both surface and intracellular staining. Manufacturer-validated data include flow cytometry analysis of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and human buffy coat nucleated cells, as well as immunofluorescence staining of human embryonic stem (ES) cells and induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells.
