Ms IgG2a,k Ctrl, MOPC-173, PE, 25µg

STEMCELL Technologies supplies this PE-conjugated mouse monoclonal IgG2a, kappa isotype control antibody, Clone MOPC-173, as a laboratory reagent. The clone is intended to estimate the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody of the same isotype in immunostaining experiments.

The manufacturer's documentation demonstrates the use of the PE-conjugated clone in flow cytometry analysis of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), where the antibody was followed by a rat anti-mouse IgG2a antibody, PE. The Safety Data Sheet describes the reagent as a clear liquid, not classified as hazardous under the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200), and chemically stable under normal conditions.
