Ms IgG1,k Ctrl, MOPC-21, UC, 50µg

A mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa isotype control antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, Clone MOPC-21, intended as an isotype-matched negative control to estimate the degree of non-specific binding by an antigen-specific antibody. The unconjugated reagent has been screened on a variety of activated, resting, live and fixed tissues from several species, including mouse, rat, human and non-human primates, and exhibits unknown binding specificity.

Produced by a mineral oil-induced plasmacytoma cell line and raised in BALB/c mice, the antibody is purified by affinity chromatography and formulated in a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide. Verified applications include flow cytometry (FC), immunocytochemistry (ICC) and immunofluorescence microscopy (IF) for both surface and intracellular staining; reported uses also cover functional assay (FA), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunoprecipitation (IP) and western blotting (WB).
